Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864 - 1901), inspired by the Montmartre dance hall the Moulin Rouge and Parisian theaters, circuses, cabarets, and bars, captured their emotion and color in his posters, oils, and other works. His prodigious output included illustrated song sheets and theater programs as well as posters for books, plays, art exhibitions, cafe and theater stars, domestic furnishings, and a bicycle chain. This calendar features eleven of Toulouse-Lautrec's captivating works, and one by Jules Cheret, father of the modern poster. This 2006 Wall calendar was published by Pomegranate.
