Lawren S. Harris (Canadian, 1885 – 1970) created a distinctive visual language, inspired first and foremost by the Canadian landscape. The twelve landscapes reproduced in this calendar represent iconic paintings of his beloved Algoma region in northern Ontario and the Arctic. This 2010 calendar is produced by Pomegranate.

Tom Thomson 2010 Wall Calendar

Tom Thomson (Canadian, 1877 – 1917) loved the northern Ontario wilderness. His exploratory artistic style and his appreciation of untamed nature helped shape the style of the Group of Seven, an association of like-minded painters who exhibited together after Thomson's untimely death. Thomson created hundreds of oil paintings while working as a guide and ranger in Algonquin Park. Many were executed in only a few hours but remain masterpieces of Canadian art. Here are twelve of Thomson's best. This 2010 calendar is produced by Pomegranate.
